Martin
has established a fine reputation as a private music teacher,
working in Lancashire since 1981. He works closely with many
schools teaching woodwind
and guitar to Royal School of Music and Trinity College, London
examination requirements.
Many
of his students have progressed to specialist
music schools , colleges and universities such as Cheethams
School of Music, The Royal Northern College of Music, The
College of Music London and Durham and Lancaster Universities.
Martin
offers private tuition on :
Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, and Guitar (classical
and popular styles).
One
area that Martin particularly enjoys teaching is Jazz
Improvisation to beginners and experienced musicians.

of CDs 'Scale and Polish', a new concept
in playing scales and arpeggios, published by Stainer
