Martin's live experience is second to none and has
taken him all over the UK playing a wide variety of styles.
As well as his Military work with HM Band of the Scots Guards,
Martin has played with : Jethro Tull, Lulu, Matt Monroe, Bruce
Forsyth, Vera Lynne and Larry Adler.
More
recently Martin Skyrme has become a well-known name on the
Northern Jazz circuit playing with his own ensemble at venues
such as :
Lytham Hall, Clifton Arms, & the Grand Hotel
Preston Marriott Hotel, Ferraris Country House,
The Villa Wrea Green, Springfield House Hotel,
Lakeside Hotel Newby Bridge, Jumping Jenny Brantwood Coniston,
Brewery Arts Centre Kendal, Kendal Jazz Club.
FUNCTIONS
Martin is available to play at functions and for corporate
events with hand-picked musicians from a simple but
effective duo to a full Big band. He regularly works
with a number of vocalists (subject to availability).
